 East End Pool King has been serving in The north and south fork of Long Island New York for more than a decade. Since 2006 we have been raising the standard of quality and customer care when it pertains to swimming pool construction as well as service and maintenance.

East End Pool King provides swimming pool and spa construction as well as service and maintenance to the eastern end of Long Island from Riverhead to Orient and East Morchies to East Hampton. Our retail store services the North Fork of Long Island for all pool and spa needs and offers exceptional water analysis.

Meet Our Team

 CJ Del Vaglio, Owner

CJ graduated from Post University with a BS in Accounting. After a four-year apprenticeship under his uncle at South County Pool Service in Massachusetts, he decided to go out on his own. He moved to Long Island in 2006 and purchased East End Pool King. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Pool and Spa Association (LIPSA) and is a member of the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) as well as the Northeast Spa and Pool Association (NESPA). He is recognized by the APSP as a Certified Building Professional (CBP), Certified Service Professional (CSP), and by the National Swimming Pool Foundation as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) needed to work and service commercial pools. CJ is committed to the importance and value of education in the industry and offering the knowledge to his service customers and pool build clients. He stays current with industry news publications and embraces new technology and products to better his clients pool experience.

 Jennifer Del Vaglio, Manager

Jennifer Del Vaglio calls the Northfork home where she manages East End Pool King. From building pools and excellence in perfect water chemistry to pool maintenance and retail expertise, there is nothing Jennifer does not do. In particular, she takes pride in the relationships she cultivates making people happy with their new pool builds or simply taking care of their old pool. Her first priority is her client’s needs.

Jennifer graduated with a BS in Business Administration - Marketing. After working at Skip Barber Racing School and Deloitte and Touch, she has found her new passion in the pool industry. As East End Pool King has grown so has her responsibilities within the company and her knowledge in the field. She plays a major role in the retail store, heads the customer service department and works in the field, and enjoys her new role as pool build consultant where she takes her clients vision and turns it into reality. She is recognized by the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP) as a Certified Maintenance Specialist (CMS) as well as a Certified Service Technician (CST) and is licensed as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) issued by the National Swimming Pool Foundation.

 Nine years ago, a contest launched by Pleatco to honor the men and women who elevate the service profession with superior technical prowess, excellent customer service skills and, above all, a love for the industry in which they work. Today, the Pleatco Perfect Pool Guy/Gal is one of the most coveted awards in the industry, drawing more than 100 applicants each year.

Pleatco recognized perfect pool gal Jennifer Del Vaglio because of her willingness to immerse herself in all aspects of the industry, and her dedication to customers.

Jennifer takes pride in being able to excel as a woman in the pool industry, with experience in building pools and spas, chemistry maintenance and retail, along with being CPO and CST certified.

Our Awards

NESPA Outstanding Achievement Awards

The Northeast Spa & Pool Association (NESPA) has recently named its winners for the 2019 Outstanding Achievement Awards - Service Competition. East End Pool King has been awarded for the exemplary customer service and customer relations.

The award winners were announced at the industry’s largest celebration, the 2020 Pool & Spa Show Welcome Party which had nearly 2,000 industry leaders in attendance. The awards celebration put a much-deserved spotlight on the amazing building projects and stellar service provided by members of the Northeast Spa & Pool Association. During the Show, award-winners had a chance to be recognized at a VIP reception held at the NESPA Membership Suite.

The 2019 Competition featured more over four dozen companies submitted nearly two-hundred entries between the Builders Competition and the Service Competition resulting in 105 awards being given across both competitions’ categories. Competition was extremely strong as these awards continue to be viewed within the industry as a benchmark of professional achievement.

In the Service Competition, each company was judged by their customers, who were asked to rate the customer service they received over the last year. The companies were judged on six categories of service which included response time, service performance for repairs, employee appearance and attitude, recommendations and overall performance.

The purpose of the awards is to recognize and reward NESPA members whose quality of service and repairs is also paired with a high level of customer service. The recognized companies meet their professional challenges while maintaining a positive, accommodating and informative attitude with their customers.

 PHTA – Pool and Hot Tub Alliance

The PHTA was formed in 2019 through the merger of The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals and The National Swimming Pool Foundation. Both organizations have similar goals of making swimming safe, healthy and fun, so the merger was a logical improvement.

PHTA is the world’s largest association representing swimming pool, hot tub and spa manufacturers, distributors, manufacturers’ agents, designers, builders, installers, supplier, retailers and service professionals. PHTA offers pool and hot tub education and certification programs, provides valuable membership benefits, develops trusted industry standards and advocates for critical legislation.

PHTA members adhere to a code of ethics in business and technical practices and share a strong commitment to the safe, healthful, and enjoyable use of industry products.


 CBP® - Certified Building Professional®

A Certified Building Professional® is an individual who has passed all the rigorous requirements of the APSP’s Certified Building Professional® training program. Graduates of the course learn the skills and value system pertaining to high ethical standards, commitment to the highest standards of workmanship and construction, business stability, and superior customer relations. After completion of the training, all graduates must complete continuing education requirements on an ongoing basis in order to maintain their CBP® certification.


 CSP® - Certified Service Professional®

A Certified Service Professional® is an individual who has passed all the rigorous requirements of the APSP’s Certified Service Professional® training program. The three-level technical training program (TECH I, TECH II, and CSP) provides practical knowledge for technicians and service professionals, from structures and electrical systems, to hydraulics, pumps, and filters, to water chemistry and maintenance.

APSP members who successfully complete all three levels are granted the program's highest credential—CSP™ Certified Service Professional®.

Afterwards, all graduates must complete continuing education requirements on an ongoing basis in order to maintain their CSP® certification.


 CST® - Certified Service Technician®

A Certified Service Professional® is an individual who has passed all the rigorous requirements of the APSP’s Certified Service Professional® training program. The three-level technical training program (TECH I, TECH II, and CSP) provides practical knowledge for technicians and service professionals, from structures and electrical systems, to hydraulics, pumps, and filters, to water chemistry and maintenance.

Afterwards, all graduates must complete continuing education requirements on an ongoing basis in order to maintain their CSP® certification.


 CPO® - Certified Pool Operator®

The Certified Pool/Spa Operator® certification program has delivered more training than any other program in the pool and spa industry since 1972, resulting in more than 200,000 successful CPO® certifications in 44 countries.

CPO® certification courses are designed to provide individuals with the basic knowledge, techniques, and skills of pool and spa operations. It covers 14-16 hours of information from the NSPF® Pool & Spa Operator™ Handbook (provided) and local codes taught by an NSPF® Instructor.

The CPO® program is widely accepted by health departments.


 LIPSA – “Long Island Pool & Spa Association”

CJ Del Vaglio owner of East End Pool King, has been a board member of LIPSA – “Long Island Pool & Spa Association” since 2011 and also served as president for 2018 and 2019.

Each year LIPSA showcases excellence in the swimming pool and spa industry. The purpose of the ceremony is to recognize and reward LIPSA members whose installation of pools, spas and water features represents the judging panel’s and member peers’ best evaluation of the most beautiful examples of the industry’s products which:

  • Promote achievement in design, construction, innovation and professionalism across the industry.
  • Encourage a high degree of competency and professionalism by members.

The results of the ceremony also provide a means and opportunity for consumers to identify award winning pool and spa builders.

An award-winning builder, the East End Pool King specializes in all types of commercial and residential pool and spa installation and renovations in gunite and vinyl liner pools.


 NESPA - Northeast Spa & Pool Association

The Northeast Spa & Pool Association (NESPA) is the Northeast affiliate of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (formerly APSP). Founded in 1958, NESPA represents the pool and spa industry in the Northeast and serves members through extensive training programs, safety promotions, design competitions and compliance education.

NESPA is the owner and producer of the Atlantic City Pool & Spa Show, one of the swimming pool industry's largest events. The Show draws 11,000 people to Atlantic City for four days of educational, business and social activities each year.

 CMS Certified Maintenance Specialist®

If you're new to the pool/spa service industry or working a pool maintenance route, the APSP CMS Certified Maintenance Specialist® certification is the right fit for you! There are no prerequisites for seeking this certification, so new and seasonal employees are welcome, and the curriculum is covered in approximately 16 hours of instruction.


 North Fork Chamber of Commerce

The North Fork Chamber of Commerce is a non–profit organization comprised of more than 200 local business members on the East End of Long Island. Our goal is to build a stronger North Fork Business Community providing a platform for:

  • Interactive communication between businesses.
  • Support of individual community initiatives in an effort to showcase each hamlet's unique identity.
  • Getting our youth involved today to be prepared to support the community tomorrow.
  • Carrying the voice of Business to Town Hall.
